No Snow, No Inspiration

I am so tired of waiting for snow in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. We are in the most furthest peak and still no snow.  Ohio gets it and Pennsylvania gets it, but us?  No!  I live in the Appalachian hills and valleys. Where is my snow and where is my inspiration?

I look outside at the fresh fallen snow, and ideas just pop into my little head. I have several orders for next year but I am going to get them done and out before then.  I have several La Bafana's orders also.  I will let you see them before I send them put.

I have sculpted several new items for Christmas 2017. I have one half imbedded in plaster.  Oh My !  This is the one imbedded in plaster.  Oh Gees, I hope he comes out.

This face  (above and below) is of a Belsnickle Santa.  They were considered Santa's helpers.  The Belsnickles often carried switches to beat, yes, beat the bad children. Some children were even carried away by the Belsnickle.

I have gathered some ideas by looking at these vintage cloths.  They kept me happy over Christmas.  Kept my followers happy also.  Here is just a few.

I love this hat.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas &  Happy New Year.

Santa comes down the chimney !

  Santa comes down the chimney

As a child, did you really believe that Santa came down the chimney? Most homes had fire or coal furnaces, but not all had a fireplace. So how did Santa get into the house.
Magic !
This is what the story of Santa is all about. Magic, in the mind of a child and some adults, who never quite got their fill of Christmas.
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Hearts are opened to more generous giving and loving. I wish Christmas could last all year.

Since I feel that I am fully recovered from my lung cancer, I have so many good ideas for you.

  I had a Smokers Cancer.  I never  smoked !

In High School, I worked in a Bingo Parlor. It was a cloud of smoke inside there.  I worked every Monday for years.Second hand smoke is real.

Merry Christmas  !
