The Summit Gallery was a hugh success !!

Summit Gallery Show, one huge success.  

The show is over and I have very little left to sale on my Web page.  That's a good thing but I promised they would be on this week.

Super idea for your home !! 

If you want to add ambiance and sparkle at the same time, make lanterns covered in "ice".  
I made 8 of these for my show.  Sorry, I don't have a picture right now but they are beautiful.  

I got lanterns and small jars and covered them in mod pog.  I then sprinkle thick handfuls, of Epsom Salt all over them.  They did take a full 24 hours to dry.  I then put a battery candle inside and they glow.  They added so much ambiance to the display I have at the Gallery for my weekend show.  A one man show.  Me !!   Wow, what good luck.  Thank you God for this wonderful chance.  

I will post pictures, but if you want to get a head start on Christmas, throw salt around.  I got my Epsom Salt at K Mart.  The little that I wasted, was collected in a  box and I put it on my steps.  You can also bath in this stuff.  Ahhhhh !!  The reason I put it on my steps was because we have had a little snow fall every night.

Here is a great Santa face that you can do something on your own.  He is from the Graphics Fairy.  All her stuff is free.  You can put him on a pillow or print him out on transfer paper for a tee shirt for the kiddies.  He is just so old fashion looking.  I just love him 

I wish I could go back for Christmas, for some old fashion fun.

Older Santa's have showed up !!  

These 2 precious Santa's showed up at the house a few days ago.  I gave them a chance to rest before taking their pictures.  Ha Ha  They will be going with me to the Summit Gallery Home tour on November 16, 2013.  It will be a one woman show and my Santas and Snowbabies.

He is holding a vintage floral stem of red Mercury Glass Beads, an old vintage, twisted ornament and a piece of WV coal at his feet.  

This Santa is holding a hand made sail boat.  His hat is from an antique quilt that had 1938 stitched into it.  

This Santa is wearing a vintage piece of material that came from the back of a velvet patchwork quilt.  His shirt is an old antique dresser scarf and it peeks out his coat sleeves.  He is caring a floral stem of green mercury glass beads.  His hat is from an old cutter quilt.
